Sometimes we feel that some people leave too soon

Sometimes we feel that some people leave too soon

And sometimes we feel that some other people live for way too long…

Selfishly we sometimes can get angry at the fact that they left “us”

Because we feel we still need them in our life

For everything they had to teach us and show us

For the examples you got from the way they were and the way they walked and

embodied their truth

We could have used another meeting, another talk, another encounter, another

email…

But the acceptance and the reality is that it is not possible anymore

Not in this life

Not in this body

Not in this physical reality

But we learn to connect in deeper and intangible ways

We get to learn and understand that if someone leaves it is because it was time for

them to leave, and you can continue with everything you already received from them

while they were here in this physical plane.

Somehow you feel their essence as part of this physical reality, because there is a

part that never leaves, even when we do not see the body anymore… Their essence

is everywhere, even in you, because source and spirit is everywhere, it is ALL.

And you learn and understand that as you get more and more in tune with the

spiritual reality, with the eternity of things. It is an experience. I cannot explain it, and

no one can, only each one of us can experience it on our own.

I miss them. I miss being able to just have a conversation or have their simple

presence by my side.

The biggest and best teachers, teach by example. And we

learn by stepping back, feeling, observing and listening.

I know I will always miss them while I am in this one life. I now know that that

doesn’t go away. It is our human side. But that doesn’t necessarily mean to be in a

perpetual state of grief or sadness. When you know the eternity of energy and spirit, the

grief and sadness passes after you consciously feel it, when you allow and befriend your emotions, when you allow it without resistance, like a wave, and in its own time ... Then you are left with acceptance and

peace, feeling the connectedness but still being aware that you will always miss that

one unique being that was such important part of your human earthy experience in this one

life.

For me, some of my biggest teachers have been animals, and a few humans.

What I have made sure is to appreciate and value (with words, energy and actions)

those I care and love while they are still here in this plane with me, as long as I am

able to.

-Dedicated to our mentors and teachers in the form of humans and animals

that many times leave before we do.
