I have such appreciation for the Writer's Corner. I think it was an idea birthed through divine inspiration. It is not simply a blog of someone's mundane thoughts, hoping to become known for them. It is a forum that magnetizes truth, inclusion, creativity, wisdom and hope.

If you know you are a writer then write. Evy has extended an invitation that gives writers purpose and hope. Not because someone else validated that you are a writer and gave you an imaginary title, not because you studied at university and call yourself a writer and not because someone published your work and now the world gives you permission to be a writer. What a refreshing forum to be open to Caribbean people, what an opportunity! On this side of the world, the craft of writing and opportunities for such are guarded heavily by drooling entities that stunt community and what it means to work together. For this alone, I applaud the space.

Evy's writings are like sampling good chocolate. They are sweet and delicious...as well as consumed in a mouthful. Every piece offers a nugget of wisdom for real life so, other than the joy and pleasure of reading, there is something practical and usable that may be taken away from the experience. There is also a touch of excitement and possibility that comes with the anticipation of every new post because you can never quite be sure just what the touching message may be because often, it is a fresh new perspective that is offered. Thank you for the creations Evy.
